When is Puerto Rico Whisky Expo?
The 3rd edition of PRWE will be held at Parque de las Ciencias in Bayamón on Saturday, March 1st, 2025.
How much do tickets to PRWE cost?
There are two ticket types: VIP and General.
VIP tickets cost $179 + taxes & fees.
General tickets cost $99 + taxes & fees.

How do I order tickets?
You can purchase tickets online HERE.
What do I get for the price of admission ticket?
All ticket holders will receive the following:

PRWE branded Glencairn tasting glass

Free tastings at whisky exhibitors from 6pm - 11pm

Free signature whisky cocktails from 8pm - 11pm

Access to a special Meet & Greet with Brand Ambassadors at 6pm in the Masterclass hall

Convenient and safe parking at La Cambija and short free ride in shuttle directly to the venue entrance

Access to event closing concert event by VivaNativa from 11pm - 12pm

Access to purchase your own whisky bottle and other goods at the PRWE Store during the event

Access to purchase from multiple food vendors during the event
VIP ticket holders will receive the following extras:

Access to register for four (4) Masterclasses, beginning at 1pm the same day of the event (spaces are limited and therefore not guaranteed)

Preferred parking on site at the venue

VIP Buffet from 7pm - 10:30pm
What’s the difference between last year and this 2025 year?
Some of the new things you can expect are the following:

New venue: the renovated and modern Parque de las Ciencias by Toro Verde in Bayamón

Parking is included for all ticket holders

Three brands not yet available in our market will be available for sampling from 6pm - 8pm

We will have a Master of the Quaich directly from Scotland at the event
-
To ensure you get to know the participating whisky brands better, from 6pm - 8pm guests will enjoy whisky sampling only (no cocktails)

For cocktail lovers, cocktails will be available from 8pm - 11pm at participating exhibitors
-
Dry Time between 9pm - 9:40pm ("Dry Time" is a 40 minute period where no alcohol will be served)

From 11pm - 12pm a real closing event: Live full hour concert by VivaNativa
What time does PRWE start?
Registration opens at 6:00pm.
At what time does PRWE end?
The Expo portion of the event ends at 11:00pm, when guests will be guided to the Plaza de los Cohetes to enjoy our event closing event with VivaNativa. The event will end promptly at 12:00am.
What should I wear to PRWE?
Elegant, chic and comfortable evening attire. We want you yo look good but also be comfortable as you stroll through the venue.
Do I need to bring a glass with me?
No, a Glencairn Style nosing glass will be provided to you at registration. It’s yours to use for the evening, and to take home with you.
What if I lose my nosing glass?
If you lose your nosing glass, we’ll have standard plastic cups available for you to use. We will not replace any lost or broken nosing glasses. However, you may purchase a Glencairn nosing glass from the PRWE Store, if available.
How much whisky will I be served?
Each pour of whisky will be between 1/2oz - 3/4oz and each cocktail will contain no more than 2oz of alcohol. These limits are to ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests. Remember, you can taste as many of the available whiskies as you'd like. Let's do it responsibly!
Where is PRWE being held?
Parque de las Ciencias by Toro Verde in Bayamón.
What can I do during the 40 minute Dry Time from 9:00pm - 9:40pm?

To guarantee our guests safety, this Dry Time gives you a moment to eat, re-hydrate and take a moment to regroup from all the awesome whiskies you've been sampling.
Are there any hotels with preferred rate near the PRWE that I can stay?
Since our preferred rate room block at the Bayamon Hyatt Place is fully booked, please contact us at 787-237-7120 to see if there are any alternatives.
Is there parking available?
Yes. Parking is included for all ticket holders. General ticket holders at La Cambija with shuttle service, and VIP holders at the venue.
I lost my ticket. Can I get another one?
You can contact Parque de las Ciencias by Toro Verde for their help with any lost or stolen tickets: (787) 867-7100
Can I bring my legal weapon for safety?
No. Weapons of any kind will not be allowed to enter the venue. No exceptions.
I won't be able to attend the event? How can I get my money back?
Ticket purchases are non-refundable. No exceptions.
How can I get the most up-to-date information about the event?

Do you sell tickets at the event?
We cannot guarantee that tickets will be sold at the door, so be sure to purchase your tickets in advance HERE.
Do you offer tickets for designated drivers?
We do not offer designated driver tickets.
If the event is sold out, can I still buy tickets?
When we declare an event is “sold out”, we are really sold out of tickets. There are no more tickets to sell.
May I bring my backpack with me?
Backpacks, briefcases, tote bags, or any such items, are not permitted inside the event. However, we will gift you with a commemorative tote bag that you may take home with you.
Will there be food available?
Yes. VIP ticket holders will have access to the VIP buffet between 7pm and 10:30pm. All ticket holders will have access to multiple food vendors for purchase.
Will there be coffee or soft drinks available?
Water will be provided free of charge for attendees. Coffee, soft drinks and mocktails will be available for purchase.
